Quantity Surveying Degree Apprentice - Aylesbury

We’re looking for a Quantity Surveying Degree Apprentice to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in Grendon Underwood, Buckinghamshire working towards a Level 6 apprenticeship in Quantity Surveying.

Location: Grendon Underwood, Buckinghamshire – With travel required to other sites including: Oxford (OX33), Reading (RG4) and Leighton Buzzard (LU7)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £18,000 per annum – With an earning potential of £35k+ upon completion of the course!

Start date: Summer 2024



How does a degree apprenticeship work?

As a Quantity Surveying Degree Apprentice you’ll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a BSc Quantity Surveyor with our university partner, Sheffield Hallam, with all tuition and accommodation fees covered by us.

You’ll work closely with our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team to design, build and maintain vital infrastructure across water, energy, and telecoms sectors.

Your day to day will include:

  • Working across commercial and pre-construction department
  • Assisting the team with value and risk management
  • Supporting the commercial team with cost control, analysis and estimates
  • attending university during pre-determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course

What are we looking for?

To enrol onto your degree, you will need:

  • Level 4 or above in GCSE maths and English
  • 2 A-Levels
  • Level 3 BTEC National Certificate/Diploma/Extended Diploma Or Advanced Diploma in a construction related topic
  • Other Level 3 BTEC qualifications will also be considered, preferably with some work experience


To apply as a mature student, you will need at least 5 years’ experience in a related career.
