Quantity Surveyor - Northampton

We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Transportation team based in Brixworth. This is for both of our prestigious Northamptonshire contracts, North Northamptonshire Council and West Northamptonshire Council. Contract: Permanent, Full time

 

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in strengthening our current commercial team working across two term service contracts for West & North Northamptonshire delivering highways maintenance and capital schemes.

Your day to day will include:

  • Supporting and leading the ongoing management of subcontractor accounts in partnership with our client
  • Working closely with Operational teams, ensuring accurate and sufficient detail is provided in all task orders to subcontractors
  • Aiding the commercial management of additional scheme works during the construction phase through to application, invoice and payment
  • Dealing with subcontractor account reconciliation

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

  • You have relevant qualifications and or experience in a similar role
  • Can show an ability to work on multiple fast paced workflows concurrently with experience of the NEC suite of contracts with an emphasis on Option C
  • Familiar with subcontractor account management
