Your new role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, the purpose of your role is to oversee the commercial aspect of a project (or projects) from acceptance to completion. Project work may have a value of up to £2million, varying from extensions, modular buildings, internal remodels/ refurbishments, M&E improvements, re-roofs, and more.


Key responsibilities: 

  • You will be responsible to meet the demands of production, profitability, safety, quality, and to manage contractors to ensure that pre-set targets in terms of health and safety, scope, quality, and production are met.
  • To ensure that designs and specifications are adhered to.
  • To promote a harmonious working relationship between the project team and the client’s representatives.
  • To ensure that our Projects are presented to the highest standards at all times.
  • Project administration from inception to completion.
  • Preparation/ Review of tender docs including prelims & JCT Contracts.
  • Preparation of consultancy agreements.
  • Management of measurement, valuations, variations, applications for payment & final accounts.
  • Responsibility for sub-contractor procurement & orders.

About you:

To be successful in your application, you will be a qualified Quantity Surveyor with relevant previous experience, enabling you to operate at a senior level. You will be an excellent communicator, able to convey all necessary information to your team, sub-contractors, and clients. You will be technically competent with sound construction knowledge.


Full, valid UK Driving Licence required. Company car or car allowance available.
