What you’ll do

 

The Commercial Manager role specifically supports management of New Business Development with Vodafone. You will be responsible for managing and optimising the P&L, as well as proposing and overseeing all commercial activity undertaken in the New Business Development team. You will ensure the customer base, trading performance and overall P&L is optimised and aligned to the wider commercial objectives. 

 

  • Define the proposition and commercial strategy for propositions across our portfolio 
  • Specific ownership for defining and qualifying business case assumptions then guiding the finance decision support teams through business case creation 
  • Ownership of sizing and prioritisation of contenders for Capex funding. 
  • Proactively share best practice and insights from the market, leverage relationships with other markets to bring the best ideas back into the UK.
  • Ensure that proposition roadmap is aligned with our budget and forecasts, that KPIs are clearly identified and trackable
  • Proactively keep abreast of latest of proposition and commercial trading performance, and customer behaviours to provide stimulus for future proposition development

 

 

Who you are  

 

  • Commercial awareness and understanding of the mobile and tech market would be a bonus but not a necessity.
  • Experience developing business cases in collaboration with finance and strategy teams.
  • Exceptional influencing skills, and a proven track record in driving business results where your personal impact can be seen
  • Track record of insight-led product or proposition development
  • Proven ability to drive change at pace through a complex business and deal with multiple often demanding stakeholders
