Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is currently seeking a talented Construction Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team in Wellington. As a Construction Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing costs and contracts on construction projects in the Wellington area.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in construction quantity surveying, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
  • Managing and controlling project costs, including tracking and reporting on cost variations
  • Conducting quantity take-offs and measurements
  • Preparing and analyzing tender and contract documents
  • Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Providing advice on contractual matters and settlement of final accounts
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methodologies
  • Experience in using quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and meet project deadlines
