Position: Electrical Quantity Surveyor (Data Center)

About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to manage the full commercial lifecycle of electrical packages on a major Data Center project in Denmark. From tender and mobilization through to final accounts, you will ensure project profitability, cost control, risk mitigation, and robust contractual administration.
Key Responsibilities

Commercial Management & Reporting: Prepare and control Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost reports, budgets, cash flow projections, and accurate monthly payment applications.

Variations & Contractual Claims: Manage site remeasurements, dayworks, variations, and change orders while maintaining detailed records to support claims and negotiations.

Subcontractor Accounts: Value subcontractor works, approve interim applications, manage retentions, and settle final accounts in compliance with agreed terms.

Risk & Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Project Managers, Electrical Engineers, and Planners to align commercial reporting with actual site progress and escalate commercial risks promptly.

Negotiation & Client Relations: Participate in commercial meetings, negotiate variations and financial matters with client representatives, and safeguard sensitive commercial data.
Qualifications & Experience

Education: Formal qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Commercial Management, or equivalent.

Experience: Proven track record as an Electrical QS or MEP Quantity Surveyor on large-scale construction developments (Data Center, pharmaceutical, or industrial preferred).

Core Competencies: Strong command of electrical installation cost drivers, contract administration, BOQ preparation, variations, and final account close-outs.

Key Advantages: Direct commercial management experience on hyperscale Data Center projects will be a strong asset.

Requirements: High analytical precision, strong negotiation skills, professional fluency in English, and full eligibility to work in Denmark.
