Intermediate Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager – Electrical

Our client is a well-established leader in the commercial electrical industry, with a history of delivering top-quality services in Auckland for over 70 years. They specialise in projects of all sizes, from small works to large-scale commercial and industrial developments. With sister businesses in plumbing and roofing, they can offer a diverse and dynamic working environment.
They are now looking for an experienced and versatile Intermediate Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager with strong estimating skills to join their team.


About the Role:

• Manage commercial electrical projects from tendering through to delivery
• Provide accurate cost estimation and budget management
• Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Oversee project timelines, safety standards, and quality outcomes
• Contribute to roofing and plumbing projects where needed

• Previous experience in electrical contracting (essential)
• Background in Quantity Surveying or Project Management
• Strong estimation and tendering skills
• Exposure to roofing or plumbing projects (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders confidently
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
