Hire Resolve's client is excited to announce an opening for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor specializing in construction, with the flexibility to work remotely. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a virtual environment and is ready to contribute to innovative construction projects while managing costs effectively.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Manage and analyze project costs and financial forecasts.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and monitor changes in the work scope.
- Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contract agreements and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
- Provide detailed reports on budgeting, expenditures, and forecasts for effective decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in quantity surveying, specifically within the construction sector.
- Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of construction contracts (ECC, NEC, JBCC, etc.) and standards.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have a reliable internet connection and the ability to work remotely.
