Junior Quantity Surveyor (Afrikaans) - Construction Industry (WC)

The ideal candidate will be an Afrikaans-speaking professional with at least 2 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Candy/CCS software. This is an excellent opportunity for a young professional looking to advance their career in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects

• Perform cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting

• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes

• Monitor project progress and track variations

• Assist with contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual terms

• Prepare valuations for interim payments and final accounts

• Work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

• Fluent in Afrikaans (spoken and written)

• Proficient in Candy/CCS software

• Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

• Based in or willing to relocate to Stellenbosch
