Junior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description Summary :

Monitoring and ensuring the implementation of the project within the Refinery Unit runs in accordance with the plan already in place.

Job Description :

• Work on the engine detail design and align it with the conceptual design

• Develop a specific project procedure for the work to be done.

• Interpret project requirements, identify and handle design parameters and engineering issues and ensure solutions are implemented.

• Ensure that all justifications for contract variation during the project can be maintained to support subsequent commercial claims.

• Engage in evaluating, organizing and prioritizing work throughout the project schedule.

• Engage and manage third party suppliers / contractors to ensure all equipment and buildings are in line with the objectives.

• Supports cost control and forecasting activities in engineering disciplines

• Ensure that progress updates are a representation of the accuracy of actual physical progress.

• Analyze the specifications and construction data and perform mathematical calculations to determine the materials, equipment, and human resource requirements for the project schedule.

Job Requirement :

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• At least 3 year(s) of working experience as Quantity Surveyor

• Hometown in Medan, North Sumatera

• Willing to be located in Medan - PT SOCI MAS
