Professional Quantity Surveyor - Consulting (Centurion)

Hire Resolve's client, a well-established and dynamic consulting firm that specializes in delivering cost management and quantity surveying services across various sectors, is currently seeking a Professional Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Gauteng. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to work on high-profile projects while furthering their professional development.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the cost planning and estimation process on construction projects

• Prepare bills of quantities, tender documents, and contract administration

• Evaluate project budgets and perform cost control throughout the project lifecycle

• Conduct feasibility studies and risk analyses

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery

• Handle progress claims, variations, and final accounts

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and company procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

• Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) with SACQSP

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a consulting environment

• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JBCC, NEC, FIDIC)

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

• Proficiency in QS software (e.g., WinQS, CostX, or similar)

• Valid driver’s license and own transport
