Project Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the assigned project and participate in the tenders for infrastructure projects
• Provide technical expertise, especially execution safety and methodology during tenders
• Ensure that the tender meets the overhead & budgetary planning targets of the project, and
• comply to tender & contractual requirements
• Work closely with external stakeholders, including clients, consultants and value chain partners
• Ensure that commercial aspects of the project are well managed and financial targets are achieved
• Oversee and manage the project team to ensure timely delivery according to planned milestone
• dates in the project, within resources allocated and in compliance with contractual requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore
• At least 15 years’ experience in a similar capacity in the construction industry
• Candidate with extensive experience in large scale building or MRT projects preferred
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
