Role Overview:<\/b>
<\/div>
The Project Quantity Surveyor will oversee all cost and contract management. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of at least 9 years’ experience<\/b> managing cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, and project financial control of both road/infrastructure and building/structural projects.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments on proposed projects.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Manage all contractual and financial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Track project costs, variations, and ensure cost control measures are adhered to.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and claims management.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Negotiate contracts and subcontracts with suppliers and contractors.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Provide advice on procurement strategies and ensure compliance with project specifications.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to align cost control with project delivery goals.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Ensure accurate and timely project reporting, including cost reports and cash flow forecasts.

    Requirements<\/h3>

    Requirements:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Minimum of 9 years’ experience<\/b> as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects (roads, infrastructure, buildings, and structural works).
      <\/p><\/li>

    • B.Sc./HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Professional certification (e.g., NIQS, RICS, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, etc.) and procurement practices.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS -related software.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
