Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: 12,000 - 15,000 AED per month

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our construction projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
  • Negotiate contracts and work schedules with contractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project costs and progress to senior management.
  • Manage and resolve any contractual disputes or claims that may arise during the project.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the fit-out or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with high-end fit-out projects.
  • Membership in a professional body such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or similar.
