Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing expert cost management and consultancy services for various construction projects across the region.

  • Monitor and report on project costs, including cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete estimates
  • Identify and mitigate potential cost risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value for clients
  • Prepare monthly cost reports and presentations for clients and project stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Professional certification from a recognized institution (e.g., RICS, AACE International) an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost consultancy.
  • Previous experience in the Middle East region is essential.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
  • In-depth knowledge of construction industry standards, practices, and current market rates
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English
