You will work as part of the construction delivery team, taking direction from the construction lead and project senior leadership team.
You will build relationships to manage and influence stakeholders, both internally and externally.
You will build a strong working relationship with your clients and support the construction lead in turning the client’s vision into a deliverable onsite plan.
Responsible for the commercial management of subcontract packages from procurement to final account.
Procurement of subcontract packages and materials including collating tender documentation & administering tenders.
Accountable for commercial package management and reporting to the commercial lead.
Establishes cost control systems including administering client and subcontract changes.
Establishes risk and opportunity reporting mechanisms.
Mitigates risks and protect package/project margin.
Enhances profit by seeking opportunities through change and cost reduction measures such as value engineering.
Operates and collaborates as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have\:
Proficient in MS office tools.
Subcontract profit and loss reporting.
Administering monthly commercial calendar.
Experience in establishing cost control systems.
Leading value engineer and cost exercises.
Preparing monthly commercial reports.
Developed planning and organisational skills.
Ability to communicate, collaborate & network with key stakeholders and senior leaders.
Established problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt and respond to change.
Leads by example and demonstrates leadership behaviours.
Degree in quantity surveying/commercial management (or equivalent).
CSCS.
You’ll also have:
Contract management, including knowledge of joint contracts tribunal (JCT) suite of contracts.
Ability to apply detailed technical expertise managing complex tasks.
Establishes clients’ requirements & manages expectations.
Ability to build established and effective client relationships.

Chartered MRICS (or equivalent).
