We are looking for an
experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to work closely with the CFO
and group companies to prepare tenders, proposals, and manage the cost
estimation process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
construction and a keen understanding of project costs, contracts, and
tendering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work alongside the CFO and senior management
to develop and prepare tenders and proposals for construction projects.
· Conduct detailed cost estimation and
feasibility studies for potential projects.
· Collaborate with various group companies to
gather project data and prepare accurate and competitive bids.
· Review project designs, specifications, and
documentation to ensure accurate pricing and compliance.
· Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring
that costs are within allocated limits.
· Provide regular reports on cost management,
forecasting, and tendering activities.
· Assist in the negotiation and preparation of
contracts with clients and suppliers.
· Monitor and report on the progress of ongoing
projects, ensuring compliance with budgets and timelines.
· Advise on value engineering, cost-saving
measures, and potential risks.
· Maintain accurate records of tender
submissions, contracts, and variations.
· Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying,
Construction Management, or a related field.
· Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quantity
Surveying, with a focus on construction projects.
· Strong knowledge of construction contracts,
tendering processes, and cost estimation.
· Proficiency in using Quantity Surveying
software and tools.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and
negotiation skills.
· Ability to work in a collaborative,
team-oriented environment.
· Strong communication and stakeholder
management skills.
· Attention to detail and a strong
understanding of financial principles.
