Kappa Executive Search are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a leading PQS firm in Darwin.
About the Company: This employer of choice is highly successful international firm that have been providing end to end consultancy services to the Australian construction industry for over 30 years. These includes: project delivery, cost management, advisory, strategic asset management, independent review and certification services.
Due to a significant increase in workload, we are looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor with 2-4 years of experience to join their Darwin office
Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the QS Manager, this role presents an excellent opportunity to advance your career while working on high-profile projects across Darwin and nationally. You'll collaborate with leading developers and financiers in sectors such as residential, commercial, retail, aged care, education, sport/recreation, and industrial development.
Your Role Will Involve:
Cost estimates and cost management services
Cost planning
Bills of quantities
Contract administration
Financier services
Sinking funds
Reinstatement cost assessments
Independent certifier role
Candidate Profile: To be successful in this role, you should have:
A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying
AIQS/RICS membership (or be actively working towards it)
Experience with CostX
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proven experience in a professional QS firm
A strong interest in practical building processes
High attention to detail
A current driver’s license
