Quantity Surveyor -Eastern Cape

Hire Resolve is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their client's team in the Eastern Cape. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to advance their career in the construction industry.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing and controlling costs throughout the construction process, from initial estimates to final accounts. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
• Analyze project specifications and develop cost-effective solutions
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase
• Prepare and manage project budgets
• Provide regular progress reports and financial forecasts
• Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure successful project delivery

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Proficiency in cost estimating software and tools
• Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Familiarity with the construction industry in the Eastern Cape region is preferred
