Job Responsibilities:
Review and analyze project documentation, including electrical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
Prepare, submit, and evaluate tenders, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with client requirements.
Engage with vendors, contractors, and clients to obtain quotations and clarify project specifications.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimation for electrical works.
Prepare and submit valuation certificates, payment certificates, and final settlements in alignment with contract terms.
Monitor project progress in coordination with the Project Coordinator and Design Engineer to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Assess variations and claims to ensure accurate cost control and minimize financial risks.
Negotiate and finalize contract terms, including pricing, payment schedules, and delivery timelines.
Manage and maintain contract documentation, including contract awards, amendments, and variations.
Ensure cost control and budget adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
Other Responsibilities:
Stay updated with changes in industry regulations, codes, and best practices relevant to electrical quantity surveying.
Participate in project meetings, including progress meetings, coordination meetings, and client discussions.
Prepare detailed reports, including project financials, cost analysis, and work progress updates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to align project objectives.
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of electrical quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and contract management.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost estimation software.
Familiarity with BOQ preparation, contract documents, and tendering processes.
Understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
