Role- Quantity Surveyor Engineer(MEP)
CTC- 8 LPA
Education- Diploma/ B.tech in Mech/Electrical
Experience- Up to 10yrs in relevant industry
Key Responsibilities-
· Quantity Verification and Invoice Processing:
o Confirm quantities for progress and invoice verification of payments to construction contractors.
o Ensure accuracy in quantity confirmation to facilitate timely and correct payment processing.
· Coordination and Scheduling:
o Coordinate and schedule measurement activities with construction management.
o Ensure all measurement activities are completed accurately and on time.
· Field Measurement Notes:
o Prepare and maintain complete and accurate field measurement notes.
o Document numerical calculations, basis of calculations, and assumptions/background for reference.
· Contract Change Review:
o Review construction contractor’s proposals for contract changes for accuracy and quantity basis.
o Validate proposals against current contracts in collaboration with the contract administrator.
· Change Request Evaluation:
o Assist in evaluating change requests and interface with the contract administrator for the development of contract change documents.
o Support discussions and negotiations with contractors on estimates and contract change requests when required.
· Historical Data Compilation:
o Assist in compiling historical data and key quantity analysis.
o Ensure all historical data is accurate and well-documented for future reference and analysis.
Qualifications-
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
· Proven experience in quantity verification, contract management, and construction project controls.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations and evaluations.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Proficiency in project controls software and tools.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Preferred Skills
· Experience in reviewing and validating construction contractor proposals.
· Knowledge of contract change management and negotiations.
· Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies in construction projects.
