Quantity Surveyor (Interior Design)

Job Accountabilities 

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Monitor project budgets throughout the construction process, identifying and addressing cost variations promptly.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials and subcontractors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
• Implement cost control measures to minimize project cost overruns and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate design proposals to suggest cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality or functionality.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project success.
• Maintain accurate records of all project costs, contracts, and changes, and provide regular reports to project stakeholders.

Candidate Profile        

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent qualification.
• 4 year experience in Quantity Surveying or Estimation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with cost estimating software is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent command of the English language (oral and written).
• Flexible working hours and ability to manage responsibilities independently.
