Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis for project costs.
Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor quotes and supplier prices.
Manage contracts, including variation orders and claims.
Monitor project progress and track actual costs versus budgets.
Advise on contractual and financial issues during project execution.
Prepare and present regular cost reports and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and safety standards.
Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, contractors, and suppliers.
Participate in project meetings and provide commercial input.
Bachelorβs degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas sectors.
Proficient in cost estimating tools and software (e.g., CostX, Candy, MS Excel).
Strong knowledge of contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, JCT).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Professional certification (e.g., RICS, MRICS, AIQS) is an advantage.
