Quantity Surveyor
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis for project costs.

  • Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor quotes and supplier prices.

  • Manage contracts, including variation orders and claims.

  • Monitor project progress and track actual costs versus budgets.

  • Advise on contractual and financial issues during project execution.

  • Prepare and present regular cost reports and forecasts.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and safety standards.

  • Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Participate in project meetings and provide commercial input.



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas sectors.

  • Proficient in cost estimating tools and software (e.g., CostX, Candy, MS Excel).

  • Strong knowledge of contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, JCT).

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Professional certification (e.g., RICS, MRICS, AIQS) is an advantage.
