Your Role : 

The primary responsibility of the Quantity Surveyor – is to lead the preparation of detailed Cost estimates, Tender documents and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for Civil, Interior Finishes, Landscape and Façade. The role involves providing expert cost advice and ensuring accurate budget management that meet quality standards.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Lead the preparation of Project Specifications, Quantification, Tender Documentation, Terms of Contract
  • Understanding of drawings and other relevant documents provided by client and consultants to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements.
  • Stay updated with and ensure compliance with market standards and good practices, applicable codes and BOQ standards, guiding junior team members as needed.
  • Ensure all specifications, quantification, costs etc are aligned with industry standards, maintain high levels of compliance, quality and accuracy across all projects.
  • Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
  • Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders.
  • The ability to work well in a dynamic team, with a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and collaborating.



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited institute.
  • 8+ years of experience in Quantity surveying of all Structural works as well as finishing works.
  • Good client facing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and related software.
  • Professional experience in all aspects of quantity surveying including Cost monitoring, Costing, Reporting and contract administration.
  • Strong and up-to-date knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay ahead of deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
