We are seeking ambitious Saudi Nationals who want to develop their career in Quantity Surveying and Cost Management


Key Responsibilities


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Delivering Pre contract cost management commissions, particularly feasibility and concept design stage

  • Managing projects to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the Gleeds procedures.

  • Positively engaging with Clients and developing, growing and maintaining Client relationships.

  • Delivering high quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet Clients’ requirements.

  • Preparing and presenting order of cost estimates 

  • Advising on and implementing procurement strategies.

  • Preparing tender documentation and managing the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes.

  • Evaluating and reporting on tenders.

  • Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.

  • Settling final accounts.

  • Providing senior technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects.

  • Administrating contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent.

  • Producing and presenting reports to Clients.

  • Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects





About You




Who we’re looking for:


Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills





  • This position is open to Saudi National candidates 

  • 4+ years post graduate demonstrable experience in cost management / quantity surveying  

  • Sound knowledge and practical experience of cost estimating and planning.

  • Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.

  • Clear and effective communication skills - both oral and written

  • Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily

  • Ability to work as part of a team



Qualifications





  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field

  • Working towards MRICS or equivalent chartered status

  • Fluent English written and oral skills
