Quantity Surveyor - Specialist Sub Contractor

An opportunity has arisen for a quantity surveyor/Estimator to join this specialist sub-contractor. They require a dynamic, confident and focussed individual to develop the Auckland office. They are building an impressive forward workload which will keep you busy and the company growing.

This company requires a solid quantity surveyor who can come in and 'hit the ground running”. You will be an expert in your field and keen to take ownership in this new role. You will need to be comfortable running your own projects and enjoy the challenges that this work brings, with the aptitude to potentially develop and grow within the business. They have an excellent work life balance, a superb company structure that encourages growth and development. 
 
If you would like to be part of this developing Auckland team we are looking for candidates with at least 5 - 10 years’ plus experience. Ideally you would have gained your knowledge here in New Zealand and worked in the sub contractor environment.

• Related construction qualification
• Can work a whole project with estimating skills to final accounts
• Solid contract admin knowledge
• Great communication at all levels and managing expectations is essential
• Ability to hit deadlines and make opportunities happen
• Excellent time management and the ability to work autonomously
• Enjoy liaising, meeting clients and seizing the opportunity
