We’re looking for an intermediate Quantity Surveyor for a leading provider of infrastructure services to the utilities sector.

They're a well known Manchester-based contractor specialising in electricity transmission and distribution. Over the last 20 years, they have developed an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects throughout the UK.

Your Role:

• Manage all commercial aspects of projects from inception to final account.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, valuations, and budgets.

• Assess and negotiate subcontractor packages and payments.

• Monitor and control project expenditure and commercial performance.

• Provide contractual advice and ensure compliance in line with contracts.

• Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and financial control.

• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions.

What You’ll Bring:

• Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

• Proven experience within utilities, civil engineering, or related infrastructure sectors.

• Strong understanding of contract law and standard forms of contract (NEC/JCT).

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

• Confident using commercial and project management software.
