Valuations and Payments: Preparing and certifying monthly Interim Payment Applications (IPA) to ensure contractors are paid fairly based on actual progress.
Variation Management: Assessing and negotiating the financial impact of scope changes or design variations, which are common in complex infrastructure works.
Cost Control and Reporting: Monitoring project spend against the budget, preparing cash flow forecasts, and submitting monthly cost reports to stakeholders.
Contract Administration: Administering the main contract (often under FIDIC conditions common in the UAE) and handling contractual correspondence.
Claims and Disputes: Reviewing and responding to contractor claims for extensions of time or loss and expense, as well as managing dispute resolution processes.
Final Account Settlement: Negotiating and finalizing the total project cost with all parties once the infrastructure is complete

Must have skills:
5+ years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor (post-tender) with experience in Infrastructure Construction Projects (Civil, Deep and Shallow infra)
Proven experience in Water Infrastructure projects - Potable Water, Stormwater, Sewerage, Dams, Reservoirs, Pipelines, Treatment plants (minimum 2 areas)
