Job Description

As a Regional Warehouse Commercial Manager, you are responsible for the Warehouse related Commercial agenda in the Logistics Region, ensuring actions to optimize business value with external partners by leading procurements and contract management for major regional contracts, also providing support in locally driven procurements and contract management.

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Lead the regional Warehouse related commercial agenda, ensuring strong Vendor & Contract Management towards external partners to optimize business value
  • Responsible for regionally lead warehouse related procurement activities, from initiation to bid evaluation, supplier selection and contract finalization, in close collaboration with central, regional and local key stakeholders
  • Responsible for contract & vendor management of major regional warehouse related contracts and business partners
  • Coordinate tactical and strategic Vendor Management meetings, in close collaboration with local Warehouse Management, tracking and evaluating supplier performance against contract terms and agreed KPIs
  • Ensure strong collaboration with central Commercial team to identify and implement the most optimal procurement-, negotiation- and commercial strategy
  • Responsible to support and provide guidelines to local teams in Procurement and Contract & Vendor Management for local Warehouse contracts (hand scanners, forklifts etc.), also acting as an escalation point in dispute resolution and performance management discussions
  • Lead the work to follow-up facility standards for own and 3PL warehouses, including electricity contracts, cantina, changing rooms etc.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams in an international environment
  • Great ability to collaborate, interact and navigate with central and regional teams and stakeholders, both internally and externally, with all level of seniority
  • Deep expertise in procurement, negotiation and contract & vendor management for Logistics related services and processes, also providing good understanding of global standards and local legislations
  • Strong understanding of logistics supplier requirements as well as compliance-, sustainability- and performance criteria’s
  • Strong analytical and financial knowledge, consistently focusing on driving customer value and improving profitability to generate business value
  • Demonstrated visionary ability, providing a holistic view and anticipating future consequences and trends

This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible with direct reporting line to the Head of Logistics Region APAC. The role will be based within Logistics Region APAC, with the possibility to hybrid working. Travel is required.
