Title: Senior Commercial Manager

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 + 20% Bonus + Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Strategy: Lead the commercial strategy and execution for data center projects, including contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and risk management.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for commercial matters.
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to develop commercial proposals and pricing models.
  • Contract Negotiation: Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and client specifications.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Commercial Guidance: Provide commercial guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to inform commercial decision-making.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports, presentations, and financial analyses to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial management, with a focus on construction, real estate, or data center projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial principles, contract law, and risk management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling software.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED accreditation is a plus.
