Commercial Strategy: Lead the commercial strategy and execution for data center projects, including contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and risk management.
Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for commercial matters.
Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to develop commercial proposals and pricing models.
Contract Negotiation: Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and client specifications.
Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Commercial Guidance: Provide commercial guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to inform commercial decision-making.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports, presentations, and financial analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial management, with a focus on construction, real estate, or data center projects.
Strong understanding of commercial principles, contract law, and risk management.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling software.
Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) is a plus.
Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED accreditation is a plus.
