Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Senior Professional Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial and retail project experience, together with advanced proficiency in WinQS and Dimex.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage quantity surveying functions across commercial and retail projects.
- Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documentation.
- Monitor project costs, valuations, variations and financial performance.
- Prepare payment certificates and cost reports.
- Assist with procurement, tender evaluations and contract administration.
- Provide professional quantity surveying advice throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate and timely project financial reporting.
Requirements
- Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification degree
- Professional Quantity Surveyor registration.
- Strong commercial and retail project experience.
- Proven experience in a senior QS capacity.
- Proficient in WinQS and Dimex.
- Strong knowledge of cost management, contracts and quantity surveying principles.
- Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
