About the Role:
 
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for managing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency, and working closely with project managers to deliver successful outcomes. We’re specifically looking for someone to work on reclad and school projects. Your role will include:

• Preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions
• Managing contracts, variations, and progress claims
• Conducting cost analysis and reporting on project budgets
• Assisting in risk management and cost control strategies
• Build and maintain professional relationships especially with clients, subcontractors and the site team
• Ensure positive financial outcomes on projects by working closely with the commercial team

About you:

• Strong understanding of NZS contracts, cost control, and financial reporting
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in CostX, Buildsoft, or similar QS software
• A relevant tertiary qualification and relevant training 
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with people management experience
• Proven ability to drive profitability on projects
