Our client is seeking an intermediate/ experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team in Cape Town. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about cost management, project delivery, and maintaining high standards throughout the construction lifecycle.
Duties:
- Develop and monitor project budgets and cost plans
- Prepare bills of quantities and tender evaluations
- Manage interim valuations and final account settlements
- Review project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (BSc Quantity Surveying, BSc Honours etc)
- Professional registration or progression towards registration advantageous
- 5–10 years’ experience within the built environment
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost management principles
- Proficiency in WinQS, DimX software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
