Job Opportunity: Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager
Location: Within 2-hour commute to office and various sites
Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 (commensurate with experience)

Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years in construction activities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Management: Oversee budgets, applications, and CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) to ensure project profitability.
  • Material Expertise: Utilize deep knowledge of construction materials for accurate estimations and procurement.
  • Contractual Oversight: Navigate contracts effectively to safeguard project deliverables and manage risks.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with teams to ensure timelines, costs, and quality standards are met.
  • Problem Solving: Address challenges with innovative, effective solutions.
  • Monitoring: Track PTCs, applications, and budgets to maintain financial control and project accuracy.
Key Skills & Requirements:
  • Proven experience in cost management, contractual negotiations, and project delivery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in industry-relevant software for reporting and analysis.
  • Keen attention to detail and analytical thinking for accurate estimations.
  • Experience in monitoring and influencing project profitability.
