Senior Quantity Surveyor (Consultancy)

Are you a confident and capable Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to join a respected consultancy with a strong pipeline of exciting projects?
 
Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) are working with an established and well-regarded consultancy based in Auckland who is seeking a driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is a key role suited to a QS with strong experience in both pre- and post-contract stages across a range of commercial, government, and infrastructure projects.
 
What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading cost planning and estimating from feasibility through to detailed design
• Preparing tender documentation and managing procurement processes
• Providing post-contract financial management, including contract administration, valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to continuous improvement

What You'll Bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar
• At least 7 years' experience in a consultancy or client-side environment
• Proven expertise across the full project lifecycle - pre and post contract
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Strong understanding of NZS3910 and other relevant NZ standards
