Senior Quantity Surveyor - CPT

A reputable professional quantity surveying consultancy with a strong track record in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, is currently seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Cape Town team.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying function within a professional QS consultancy environment
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning
• Manage procurement processes and contract administration
• Evaluate contractor claims and variations
• Prepare and present financial reports to clients
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and comply with contractual requirements
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders

Requirements

• BSc in Quantity Surveying (BScQS)
• Must be professionally registered (e.g., PrQS)
• 8 to 10+ years’ experience within a professional QS consultancy (non-negotiable; contractor experience will not be considered)
• Strong knowledge of cost management, contracts, and industry standards
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
