- Lead the preparation of detailed estimates, cost plans, and tender submissions for commercial and high-end residential projects
- Contribute to value engineering and alternative design solutions, driving innovation and cost-effectiveness
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work culture
- Conduct feasibility studies and early-stage budgeting, leveraging your advanced analytical and numerical skills
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and consultant documentation to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost estimates
- Manage the full tender lifecycle from invitation through to submission, evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Identify and assess project risks and opportunities, contributing to the success of our projects
- Provide clear commercial handovers to delivery teams, ensuring a seamless transition
- 10+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying/Estimating, with a proven track record of delivering estimates on commercial and high-end residential projects
- Relevant qualification in Construction or Quantity Surveying, demonstrating your expertise in the field
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand construction contracts (NZS 3910, 3915, 4202, NZIA), ensuring compliance and best practices
