Role overview:
They are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in managing costs, contracts, and procurement for projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
- Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress, costs, and financial reports
- Conduct risk and value management and cost control
- Provide advice on contractual claims
- Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and architects
- Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors
Role requirements:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- At least 7 years’ experience in quantity surveying within the construction sector
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
