DescriptionEram Talent is currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a 3-month contract in Saudi Arabia. The Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) is responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management throughout the project lifecycle. This role includes preparing detailed cost reports, attending weekly meetings to discuss project progress and financial status, coordinating with project managers to assess variations, and ensuring that all expenditures are monitored and controlled in accordance with contractual obligations.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Evaluate and analyze project costs, including labor, materials, and overheads
- Monitor project performance and report on financial forecasts and variances
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Prepare and submit progress claims and final accounts
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and gather information for cost assessments
- Advise project teams on cost-effective practices and procurement strategies
- Ensure compliance with project contract terms and relevant regulations
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 3 years in a senior role
- Proven experience working in Saudi Arabia or a similar market
- Strong knowledge of cost control practices and procedures
- Proficiency in using cost management software and tools
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- Familiarity with local regulations and contractual obligations in Saudi Arabia
