Eram Talent is currently seeking a highly skilled Sr. Quantity Surveyor - MEP (Short Term Contract) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing costs and providing critical financial oversight for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects on a short-term basis. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and manage estimates and budgets for MEP projects
  • Maintain a schedule of submissions and responses for approvals, inspection, variations, etc.
  • Prepare take offs from drawing and compare with site measurements.
  • Preparation and summaries of all measured works
  • Tabulation & Price Comparison & Cost Summary.
  • Analyze tender documents and contract terms to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and selecting suppliers and subcontractors
  • Generate financial reports and present insights to stakeholders and senior management
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and verify cost-related discrepancies
  • Assist in resolving contractual disputes and claims management
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quantity surveyors and project staff


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with specific experience in MEP projects
  • Extensive lead quantity surveying experience working across major construction projects.
  • Solid understanding of MEP systems, materials, and construction processes
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimates
  • Knowledge of relevant construction regulations and industry standards
  • Availability for short-term contract engagement with flexible work hours
