Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We're looking to hire an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to our team here at Vipond, on a hybrid basis based out of our East Kilbride offices, near Glasgow

SALARY: Upto £24000 per annum

• 31 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays

Goals and Objectives:

To manage the commercial aspects of a portfolio of design and build projects of a gross value of circa £500k to £4 million working predominantly with Major Projects team.

The candidate will be expected to regularly work from site.

Responsibilities:

• Administration of the Main Contract(s) including assisting with Project Control information, Change Management and cash collection
• Administration of the Subcontract Agreements holistically under the portfolio, including execution of the project subcontract strategy
• Assist with providing an advisory service regarding various standard forms of agreement (including JCT, NEC etc.) to ensure that best practices are adopted and implemented throughout the project life span including inception, delivery and close out

Experience

• Experience of working within a similar role would be ideal

• Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures.
• To be fully conversant and compliant with all Environmental Health and Safety procedures.

This opportunity would suit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who lives within commutable distance of East Kilbride or Glasgow
