Role:

Lendlease currently have an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Western Australian business to work on a long-term project South of the River.

As a Commercial Manager with Lendlease, you will take ownership of all commercial aspects of this project, including administration of the head contract and subcontracts, developing the procurement strategy and processes, as well as outlining cost controls, budgets and managing project cash flow. You will also be responsible to ensuring that contracts and documentation contain the necessary EH&S inclusions. As this is a leadership role you will also lead and mentor the commercial and administration project team through to handover.

Essential Requirements:

  • You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.

  • A construction management, building, engineering, or quantity surveying degree or equivalent.

  • 10+ years industry experience in the construction industry, ideally on projects above $100 million.

  • Expertise in contract management, construction law and quantity surveying, along with financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation and administration.

  • Experience leading, managing and developing teams of junior staff.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, as you’ll be managing multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.

  • Proven experience driving client focused outcomes and safety initiatives.
