I'm pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) in support of the Sizewell C project. Sizewell C is set to be a 3.2-gigawatt nuclear power station that will generate low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, playing a key role in the UK’s energy future for at least 60 years.

Position: Commercial Manager

Location: London or Suffolk (Hybrid Working Available)

As a Commercial Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to deliver clean, reliable energy. You'll be responsible for implementing our civils alliance delivery strategy, ensuring cost-effective solutions, and driving internal and external customer satisfaction while upholding our professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Championing Zero Harm and promoting health, safety, and environmental awareness within the commercial team.
  • Managing the commercial aspects of the project, including estimating, planning, procurement, and risk management.
  • Developing and mentoring commercial staff to build a robust, skilled team ready to tackle industry challenges.
  • Liaising with all stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved efficiently and effectively.

  • A degree in Construction Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying.
  • Proven experience in commercial management, negotiation, and project procurement strategy.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
