We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately extracting and verifying quantities from construction drawings and performing on-site measurements to ensure precise execution of projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that all construction materials and efforts are accounted for, helping to maintain budget integrity and project efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

 

- Quantity Take off:

  - Conduct detailed take offs from architectural, engineering drawings and interior design.

  - Utilize specialized software for accurate measurement and quantification.

  - Collaborate with design teams to clarify project specifications and plans.


- Quantity Verification:

  - Check and confirm quantities for procurement and installation against project plans.

  - Manage and document any discrepancies or changes to original plans.

  - Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.


- Site Measurements:

  - Perform on-site verifications of measurements during various phases of the construction process.

  - Update quantity records based on actual site conditions and progress.

  - Liaise with project managers and site engineers to ensure compliance with design specifications.


- Reporting & Documentation:

  - Prepare and maintain accurate reports detailing quantities, measurements, and discrepancies.

  - Contribute to cost analysis and budgeting processes.

  - Ensure all quantity-related documents are accurate and up to date.


 Additional Requirements:

- Ability to visit and measure on construction sites, which may involve physical activities such as climbing, bending, and walking through rough terrains.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and project demands.

- Willingness to collaborate and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Fluent use of AutoCAD

- Use of Revit is an additional value

- fluent with Microsoft excel
