Introduction

Our client is a pioneer within the electrical and construction industry - they are urgently looking for a Snr. Quantity Surveyor with electrical experience from the construction industry to join their team in Brackenfell.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical works and develop project budgets based on detailed analysis of drawings and specifications.

  • Project Management

  • Measurement and Quantification: Measure and quantify electrical materials, labor, and services required for projects. Prepare detailed take-offs from drawings and specifications.

  • Documentation and Reporting

  • Site Inspections: Conduct site visits to assess progress, verify the quality of work, and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

  • Value Engineering: Evaluate project designs and propose cost-effective alternatives to enhance value and efficiency while maintaining quality.

  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project goals, cost implications, and execution strategies.


Desired Experience & Qualification

Relevant Diploma or Degree.


Electrical QS experience.


Package & Remuneration

R 30 000 - R 45 000 ctc per month (depending on experience and qualifications)
