Introduction

Are you a Quantity Surveyor with 2 – 4 years' consulting experience looking to take the next step in your career? The successful candidate will support the delivery of residential, commercial and civil projects from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with senior surveyors and project teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
  • Assist with procurement, subcontractor management, and letting of packages
  • Value works and prepare interim payment applications and final accounts
  • Monitor project costs and report on budget performance
  • Assess and negotiate variations, claims, and change orders
  • Maintain accurate contract records and correspondence

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • BSc/BTech Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • 2-4 years' experience in a consulting QS environment
  • Knowledge of JBCC contracts
  • Experience with cost estimating, tender documentation, valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS measurement software
  • PrQS registration or progress towards registration is advantageous

Package & Remuneration

R300 000 CTC - R420 000 CTC (Negotiable depending on experience)
