As part of our continued business expansion, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team.

Role Overview

The Junior Quantity Surveyor will support project teams with cost management, procurement assistance, contract administration and financial reporting across industrial, mining and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing professional looking to gain exposure to technically complex engineering environments.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with project cost estimates, budgets and financial tracking.
  • Prepare bills of quantities, tender documentation and cost reports.
  • Support contract administration and payment certification processes.
  • Monitor project expenditure and highlight cost risks or variations.
  • Liaise with engineers, contractors and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate commercial records and project documentation.
  • Support compliance with company quality and SHEQ requirements.

  • Promote safe working practices aligned with company policies.
  • Contribute to risk identification and Zero Harm initiatives.
  • Uphold company values and maintain professional standards at all times.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • BSc / BTech / National Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • 1–3 years’ relevant experience (consulting or construction environment advantageous).
  • Understanding of construction contracts and cost control principles.
  • Exposure to industrial or infrastructure projects will be beneficial.

Technical Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of cost estimating software advantageous.
  • Understanding of measurement principles and construction drawings.
