Lead Quantity Surveyor required to work for a major multinational rail and infrastructure business with locations throughout the UK.
Project
Working on a major re-signalling project based in York valued over £20m.
Role
– Proactively administer Sub-contract accounts from project start up through to final account.
– Accurately report Sub-contract liabilities
– Raise Sub-contract payments and issue notices strictly in accordance with contractual and legal requirements.
– Provide records which identify progress, delays and controlled change management, contributing to event registers and entitlement documentation, so that timely actions can be completed
Essential Skills
– Experience working in contracting commercial department.
– Able to provide guidance on quantification, costing of construction works and task elemental cost analysis.
– Appreciation of conflict avoidance, management and dispute resolution procedures.
This is a contract role outside of IR35.
