M&E Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

A leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor based in a prestigious City of London location are looking for Quantity Surveyors to join their Commercial team.

An excellent name within the industry operating on a national scale on high-profile and large-scale projects. They generally work within the Commercial sector but also undertake projects within data centres, energy, education and healthcare amongst others.

The ideal candidates will be Quantity Surveyors with experience within the M&E Building Services sector in either contracting or consulting. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business well-known for their engineering excellence and also the internal opportunities for progression that comes to successful individuals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Procurement and vetting of subcontractor tenders and packages
• Carry out monthly valuations
• Cost forecasting, review, monitoring and reporting
• Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts
• Measuring, Valuing and Submitting of Variations
• Advise project staff on commercial and contractual matters
• Prepare submit and negotiate project final accounts
• Management and approval of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts
• Ensure business commercial processes are maintained throughout project life-cycle

Person Specification:

• Experience within M&E Quantity Surveying within London and South East
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
• Ambitious and looking for progress
• Varied project experience
• Desire to work for a leading name within the industry and work on prestigious projects
