Your Role as Operations and Commercial Manager:
  • Team Development & Leadership: Identify, nurture, and develop talent, leveraging individual skills to benefit the business.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain key client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery and securing extended/new business.
  • Financial & Budgetary Oversight: Take responsibility for business budgets and P&L management, working alongside the commercial team.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive high productivity levels within the operational team, ensuring all work meets stringent quality standards.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain safety and quality standards, ensuring all contracts meet targets and expectations.
  • Financial Reporting & Strategy: Lead financial reporting processes for monthly and quarterly reviews, working collaboratively with the General Manager.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a similar leadership role, ideally in responsive/maintenance contracting or a high-volume service-based business.
  • People Management: Passion for team engagement, empowerment, and development, fostering a motivated workforce.
  • Strategic & Financial Acumen: Experience contributing to business/operational planning and managing P&L budgets up to £7 million.
  • Client-Focused Approach: Ability to develop and maintain exceptional client relationships, understanding contract expectations, KPIs, and SLAs.
  • Dispute Resolution Skills: Expertise in managing contractual disputes effectively, ensuring business integrity and client satisfaction.
